About Chester Speaking Club - a member of Toastmasters International
Chester Speaking Club is a member of Toastmasters International. The club was formed in 2012, and Chartered in April 2018. We pride ourselves on being welcoming, innovative and dedicated to helping members to improve their public speaking performance – and having a lot of fun along the way.
We’ve helped people improve their speaking capability to excel in interviews, grow their self-confidence, and learn to listen – a key and much neglected skill.
In all, we grow our communication skills by following the Toastmasters programme.
Key skills that you will learn include:
Learn how to prepare a speech.
Get practice speaking off-the-cuff.
Receive immediate and constructive feedback, in a warm, supportive, non-threatening environment.
- Gain practice in giving speeches.
You can benefit too, you’re welcome to join us on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month at Hoole Community Centre CH2 3AP at 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
You can park for FREE in the community centre car park, and the centre is fully accessible.
